“Treatment Planning Considerations in Older Adults”
Dr. Raymond Choi has placed implants for several decades as a general dentist and has extensive experience in both surgical and restorative aspects of implant dentistry, especially overdentures. He has been lecturing on this topic for over 25 years in US and internationally.
He graduated from Pomona College in Claremont, California and earned his dental degree from USC School of Dentistry and later pursued his interest in geriatric dentistry to receive a master’s degree from the same institution.
Dr. Choi has served as an Assistant Clinical Professor in the TMJ/Facial Pain Clinic at USC for over 10 years and recently as an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Division of Geriatrics, Special Needs & Behavioral Sciences at Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC.
Dr Choi continues to lecture on implant overdentures, complete dentures and geriatric dentistry to general dentists and provides life coaching for young dentists starting their careers as well as older dentists transitioning into retirement.
“Tips for Successful Posterior Composite Restoration”
Dr. James Chae graduated from the University of California San Francisco School of Dentistry in 2000. Currently he owns Diamond Bar Dental Group in Diamond Bar, California where he provides cosmetics and general dentistry.
In addition to practicing, he also teaches clinical dentistry as an adjunct instructor at Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC. He has published cases in Dentistry Today, Dental Products Report, Dental Product Shopper, and Compendium. You can also find him on Facebook and Instragram at @jameschaedds where he shares his work and answers questions.
At his office, he uses an intraoral camera to take photos of each step of restorative treatments and his patients never leave his office without seeing before & after images of their work. He believes that this makes us accountable and helps to develop trust with patients.

Dr. Kevin Choi is a Southern California native who earned his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC. He served as a Dental Officer in the United States Army before completing his specialty training in Endodontics at USC.
Dr. Choi is the endodontist at RootVision Endo and serves as an adjunct clinical faculty member at the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC, where he teaches dental students and residents. He is an active lecturer on endodontic topics.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Choi participates in international dental mission trips, providing care to underserved communities around the world.
“Faith at Work: Bridging Sunday’s Sermon with Monday’s To Do List”
Brian started his career as a structural engineer after graduating from college. For more than 35 years, he has been involved in construction, creating a wide variety of buildings of different sizes and materials across Southern California. He founded New Creation Builders, a general contracting company, in 1999. Because of his deep expertise in engineering and construction, he has also consulted with construction lawyers on construction defect claims. Brian was actively involved in the Korean American construction community for many years and served as President of the Korean American Contractors Association of California.
Since 2003, Brian has actively participated in Christian Marketplace Ministry. He is a former member of the C12 Group, a network for Christian CEOs, and the Christian Executive Forum. Additionally, he led SoCal BAMers, a Business as Mission organization. Brian is the founder of ABLE, a Christian nonprofit, and has taken part in overseas missions focused on poverty alleviation and developing leaders who promote hope in Christ in Haiti, El Salvador, and other countries.
He holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and a M.S. in Civil/Structural Engineering from Stanford University. Brian met his wife, Esther, in college, and they have three adult children and three grandchildren.
